“I felt overworked, couldn't afford benefits, and couldn't see any career advancement.”
Former Employee – worked at Diamond Drugs
Pros – Fun activities - picnics, movies, holiday parties dress down days; free parking; friendly staff, most employees got annual review, raise.
Cons – No paid vacation or sick time until after a year; not a lot of ways to move up in position.
Advice to Senior Management – Talk more to employees, don't have favorites for promotions, raises, review benefits compared to others in town; more ongoing training
