Pros
Encouraged to use resourcefulness and throw out ideas.
Cons
Not a lot of communication.
Pros
Fun job if you like the industry.
Cons
Boring at times if you like a challenge.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the good work.
Pros
As a sales associate you get an allocated amount of "free clothes" , an awesome discount, and a competitive commission based pay.
Cons
This company will do whatever it takes to keep an employee. If an employee is constantly breaking the rules and hindering other co-workers, do not expect anything to be done.
Advice to Senior Management
Hire smart people. In my case, I have a store manager who is less competent then most of the sales associates. The schedule comes out sunday for the following week. The incentives to work hard are barely there. The lack of motivation I feel at work is astounding.
Pros
allowance and discount is good ..friendly environment, sometimes
Cons
dress code is strict and can get expensive.. pay is low! commission based but if there are no customers or you are not selling denim than you are not making any money
Advice to Senior Management
they need to get some permanent management, i started 5 months ago and the store manager and gm has changed and 2 floor managers and 2 floor supervisors have left and yet to be replaced.. management is light so work ethics are low
Pros
Diesel is a pretty good place to work. The place is packed on Saturday and Sunday and you can earn really nice tips. It is very easy to request off, and not hard to get people to fill in for you.
Cons
Workin with the public in a nightclub setting can be difficult at times. Sometimes patrons get out of control and wasted, however the security team is great in dealing with these kind of situations.
Advice to Senior Management
Give more praise to employees when they do a good job. Other than that, the managers are very easy to work with and also very accomodating.
