I worked at Dimont & Associates

    Pros

The overall atmosphere was small and personal. Ito a family owned business so the CEO visits often. They usually have an ice breaker every Friday to give everyone a short break from Friday. The work schedule left time to spend with family during the week.

    Cons

No raise once you're offered the job permanently.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. My manager was pretty understanding.

I worked at Dimont & Associates full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Working on client site being away from management's control

    Cons

Heavy on micro managing, high stress, high turnover, fake smiles, & no work/life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be respectful and fair to all. Don't favor the ones that work overtime for you off the clock. Don't keep your employees in the dark about the client. Don't keep your employee's on egg shells. Let them know what they are allowed and not allowed to say when at the client site. Whats the big secret? Stop asking your on site employees to spy for you and tell you who's visiting.

I worked at Dimont & Associates full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible hours. Monthly luncheons.

    Cons

management does not provide positive feedback, only negative. Sometimes they even curse at you. It's basically a sweat shop and the turnover is HIGH. No one stays long.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to communicate with employees better. Don't harass them and threaten them. You get better work from someone that you give positive comments to. For God's sake, give decent raises. This company makes millions and should pay better.

I worked at Dimont & Associates

    Pros

It's a paycheck. The breaks are nice, but it would be nicer if they allowed longer lunches and for staff to actually be salaried. If they salaried more of their employees there would be less concern about micromanagement issues.

    Cons

This company seems to only care about the bottom line. The CEO should be on the show Undercover Boss if they even cared to so they could see how ridiculous I feel they treat their employees. I think they should be ashamed of how disrespectful they are to staff. There is little room for advancement and the gift cards are a joke. Treat people well and they'll want to treat the company well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The Golden Rule. Treating people like they are disposable even if they work very hard and do their job is terrible. Karma. This is no way to lead a company.

I have been working at Dimont & Associates full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Able to win gift cards, Annual company party is very nice. work/life balance is good, I never have any problem getting days off. Company 401K match each pay period is great, OT when available.

    Cons

Very little advancement opportunity. Someone has to leave the company for a new position to come available. The work is repetitive but thats with almost any job. Pay raise is very small but what can be expected when the job is very easy, dont need a college degree

I worked at Dimont & Associates full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Gift card, flexible schedule,30 minute lunch break, free parking and beautiful building

    Cons

Training or lack there of, I sat with another employee for a few days who had only been there a few months herself. I was put on a desk and expected to know the ends and outs of the job, but I was never given all of information to do the job correctly. I did not have access to all the programs needed or even told about the programs. I was flying blind without any navigation to guide me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Training, training, training!!! Give employees a chance to learn the job before laying them off.
Don't publicly try to humiliate your personal by saying your numbers need to be up with in 20 days of my start date or I could be let go.

    Cons

lack of advancement or growth, do the work of 3 to 4 people on low pay, very small raise once a year that you have to jump through hoops for

I have been working at Dimont & Associates full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Flex schedule (you can choose your hours), able to work OT from home.

    Cons

Document review specialist position is VERY repetitious and boring. There is a lot office gossip and drama. There's an extremely high turn over rate. instead of giving you a chance to improve, after a warning you can immediately be fired, sometimes without warning.Everyone is constantly on pins and needles, afraid of being terminated, because it happens so often. There are not a lot of opportunities to grow in the company. Average employees stay only for about a year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Add more training and give employees time to improve before terminating them.
