    Pros

    Nothing Nothing Nothing Nothing Nothing

    Cons

Negative energy through out company Office staff and one night supervisor are liars. Company does not care about employee well being, they are just interested in making themselves a profit. DO NOT WORK AT DIODES!!!!!!!!

    Advice to Management

It's no wonder that your products fail and you lose millions. you don't give anyone an incentive to work here.

    Pros

Benefits ok, long weekends. That's all I can think of.

    Cons

Upper management always reaping benefits. Seems most everyone gets a healthy bonus except the peons in the fab. Every year you're promised more, but alas it never comes. They demand more output than their man power or very old tools can handle. Advancement options are limited. Pay raises are in tiny increments.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your peons

I worked at Diodes full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It pays some of the bills

    Cons

Working every day, and everybody is always blaming somebody else.

    Advice to Management

Pay better, invest in technology, stop pointing the finger, allow a person to have a life. The cost of insurance should be cheaper than a policy purchased on the internet with the same coverage. Stop charging salary employees that work 65 hours a week, time bank for a bad weather day. Keep up with the latest technology trend like your facility in England. A calm supervisor produces calm employees, and better productivity. It sounds like you have lost a good amount of senior engineers in the last couple of years.

I worked at Diodes full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Salary and Benefits ok, Bonus scheme awful

    Cons

Awful Upper Management, no really, really Awful. If you are looking for employment keep looking...

    Advice to Management

Treat your staff like they are good people, nurture them and they will flurish, rather than stomping on them with your size 12's.

  7. If you're not family, friend, or church member, do not work here.

    Pros

Good benefits (health insurance, 401k with employer match, paid vacation and holidays) Decent work-life balance Nice newer office building with gym Free coffee and filtered water

    Cons

Rigid hierarchy and "my way or the highway" management style Preference given to insiders (family, friends, church members) No opportunity for growth or development - promotions are unheard of Almost exclusive use of Chinese alienates English speakers Terrible morale due to management's lack of respect for employees Low regard for integrity and ethics throughout the company

    Advice to Management

Be more inclusive of outsiders and more open to new ideas or suggestions. Taking away privileges is demoralizing...happy employees = better productivity.

  8. It is a very unprofessional environment and the morale among employees is low

    Pros

I really cant think of any other reason except that we are in tough economic times They have OK benefits

    Cons

very high turn-over because of poor work environment thus you are constantly training a new person who might quit just after the training Morale is very low thus not a good environment for productivity and creativity

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees when they make suggestions on how to improve the work place Stop poor planning and last minute rush Talking down to employees is a strategy that never works Senior management stop hiring a new manufacturing manager every year each one of them introduces new policies that will take a year to implement then they are gone

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

None really. The Operators and Supervisors were some of the best people but they were severely limited by the tools they had to work with.

    Cons

Upper management treats you like dirt. Too many meetings with not enough time to do any decent work in between. Horrible work ethics towards employees. Expected to be there 24hrs per day. Expected to have zero home life. Hugely high staff turnover including middle manager. Blame culture is the order of the day and the only way to survive.

    Advice to Management

Purchase a good wafer monitoring software system for the cleanroom. This one action would increase productivity and give time for all employees to work better/smarter, and would save so much time. Currently they run a paper traveller system which means you can hide wafers/yields easily, and spend many hours finding lots.
