ProsIf you find the right franchise owner, then you can have a wonderful experience.

ConsWorking hours are excessive, pay is low. Most franchise owners lack the skills and integrity to effectively lead the business.

Challenging Sales Atmosphere (If you personally except the stipulations agreed upon by CSC (HQ) & Manufacturers)

ConsGreedy Corporate & Franchise Culture
Ignorant and None Innovative Corporate Sales Mentality
Lack of National Advertisement after Law Suite Blow Up
Work Culture / Environment depends on the current Owner
Poor salary compared to industry equivalents

Advice to Senior ManagementTO CLUB OWNER: Each club (Store/Center) is only as successful as those who own it. When you are a owner you need to be able build, lead, and maintain team of employees. As a owner/leader/manager of any business, especially one that like Direct Buy which requires a large personal investment on behalf of its employees, the lack of respect, professionalism, appreciation, and loyalty towards its employees will only lead to there own dismiss. Even more so now that each center is left to fend for its own leads.

Keep your personal life just that!! It a small work environment but honestly!!!!!

TO CORPORATE (CSC): Lean Manufacturing Implementations do not mean you tell a club what it should staff based a third party calculations. It means you guide and lead your management to make small but constant changes and improvements to further stream line the flow of production without causing a big ripple. Cutting hours of staff in certain departments does not always equal out to nor it it always the immediate solution when trying to convert to a answer lean principle implementation environment.
