    Pros

Very comprehensive social service agency so there are many programs offered. This gives workers (especially new ones to the field) a lot of exposure to different types of learning opportunities. The staff are all very helpful and it's a good place to work. Good agency trainings and the managers / administrators usually have an open door policy which makes everyone feel comfortable.

    Cons

There are productivity requirements that are often very hard to meet when you are relying on clients to keep / show up for / not cancel appointments. Your job depends on this so it can get very frustrating because it doesn't always mean that you're not working hard or trying hard! The pay isn't good either but it's great experience and a good "stepping stone" job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Raise pay and lower productivity.

    Pros

Strong healthy culture, A great balance of professionalism and levity, in house CEUs, Advancement opportunities, Strong clinical minds, Strong reputation in the community

    Cons

Private not for profit so pay is low, Decisions are made based on money but are at times relayed as in the best interest of client and or employee, size of agency sometimes muddles communication.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is little I feel a need to add. Honestly keep the employees informed. Be willing to make tough decisions quickly.
