-25 Days of PTO starting day one
-Company keeps growing and expanding products with good success.

    Cons

Not to many, there are some pain in the rear bureaucracy processes but, that is with any company. Some of the the teams in Business Technology need to get along a little better, or at least communicate a little better.

    Pros

Great Benefits, wonderful PTO nice work place

    Cons

    The good old boy network
If you don't kiss the right behind you get no where they will promote someone who is not qualified over a qualified individual if that person kissed the right behind.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start advancing the people who work hard and have the experience, instead of those that make u feel good.

I worked at Discover full-time for more than a year

    Pros

great pay, good career starting point, good benefits, large cafeteria.

    Cons

Hard sales pushes, management finds ways to not pay your earned incentive. Supervisors look for any little thing to write you up for. I also had an issue with one of the supervisors talking trash about me and other employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop trying to make a quick buck. Listen to your employees and your customers. Stop trying to screw everyone over.

I have been working at Discover full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Discover offers great benefits. I am also very pleased with the amount of overall good they try to do as a company.

    Cons

I felt stuck in my position, so I started applying elsewhere for jobs that would be a better fit for me. They have a new rule that you can't apply for other positions within the company until you have been in your current one for a year, and while I understand their reasoning, the position I am in is not a good fit for me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Several employees are intimidated talking to upper management, so focus on creating relationships with all the employees under you, not just the next management level down.
