Former Employee – worked at Disney full-time for less than a year
Pros – Work load is manageable and the workplace is generally stress-free. The culture encourages co-workers to be friendly and personable. If you enjoy the parks, then the unlimited pass is a very nice benefit.
Cons – Coworkers seemed to fall into two groups of Disney experience: 3 years or less with the company or 10+ years. My interpretation of this dichotomy is that (1) young professionals become frustrated with the corporate bureaucracy and many antiquated business practices (and leave) and (2) since Disney is one of the few private companies that still offers a pension, the "lifers" cling to their position (and protect it) until retirement. De facto, it appears that Disney prefers very loyal employees over very apt employees.
Advice to Senior Management – An upgrade in the technical skill set of your staff will allow you to operate at the same level for a fraction of the labor costs.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Disney as an intern for more than a year
Pros – I've been really fortunate to work on some great projects ranging from small scale employee-only events in Burbank to large scale projects at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World. Being able to continue the tradition of making memories for younger generations is the best part.
Cons – I think that interns, like full-time employees, should be eligible for a Silver Pass that allows them to visit the Disney Parks as a benefit for long work weeks rather than the limited number of complimentary tickets.

Pros – Disney cast members are really well balanced socially and very bright
Everyone is very results driven and not looking to place blame
Cons – Not many full time opportunities. Management and leadership roles are cast members, all other positions are contractors or vendors.

Former Employee – worked at Disney full-time for less than a year
Pros – -unlimited access to all parks and attractions for free AND you can invite a guest to go for free too
-the best, the most understanding, polite, considerate, reasonable managers that I've met
-excellent work ethic and corporate culture
-superb facilities, clean, safe, impeccable
-the best training in customer service you can get in the whole wide world
-the happiest place to work at
-tons of other perks!!!
Cons – -my job was paid very very low, but I don't know about the senior positions salary
-not for people, who just want "a job to pay bills", you really have to give your all and best to this company, but it feels good!!!
Advice to Senior Management – I worked as a food and beverage hostess outside all summer and the pay was very low, for the hot and humid conditions of this position you should raise the pay per hour and/or put some real fans/humidifiers on all those pop corn, ice cream, etc stands.

Cons – Disney is a very political and competitive organization. The social aspect is great, but it's easy to get thrown under the bus, so to speak.
