-Great college internship

-It can be hard to move up if you don't know the right people

Stop accepting as many college program interns, so there can be more full time job available.
Pros
Lot's of perks and benefits come with working at the Walt Disney World Resort. Flexible schedules and awesome co-workers. A lot of interaction with people from all over the world, it's a good experience if you are a people person.
Cons
You need to be able to put forth a lot of effort in specific roles. You can't control the weather! Most work outdoors and are vulnerable to the weather. If you are a hard worker you'll have no problem.

Pay and employee relations are very nice. Sometimes management can have more professional skills. Training is easy and sometimes fun. Great perks and benefits
Cons
Because it is a tourist hotspot, it i difficult to get approved vacation times around the holidays. Also sometimes favortism is played when it shouldn't be

Treat employees how you want to be treated. Think about the guests and employees first and worry about your promotion after

- In general, the company offers a great culture to be a part of.

- The type of work (i.e character work) can be challenging (i.e. weather can make the work uncomfortable, etc.
- Sometimes, you must work long schedules (even though you do get paid overtime for doing so under certain circumstances).

In general, you run a great organization. I would definitely work for the company again, as I felt that the company both respects and values their workforce. It was a great culture, and it was a great experience.

I get to make magic every day and feel I make a difference in the lives of our guests. It has its hard days like any job, but overall I get to have fun at work.
Cons
Its hard to get the same answer from two managers. Many cast members feel like a replaceable cog and eventually get burnt out after a few years. I have also seen several very talented cast members overlooked for promotion for less qualified cast members.
