    Pros

The workplace almost always came with a fun atmosphere and fun co-workers; it provides plenty of opportunity for promotion and growth. Because of its reputation for excellence, Disney looks great on a resume, and even if an interview is going poorly it will still make for good conversation with a potential employer.

    Cons

Low wages, and too many cast members who don't like Disney, harp about unions and sick pay (mostly backstage), and bring their emotional baggage to work.

    Advice to Management

Diligently praise model cast members and stick up for them when guests are obviously out of line. Because the dollars of rotten guests still spend at the cash registers, the default setting of managers is to reward poor behavior while well-behaved guests look on and feel cheated.

    Pros

the perks are amazing and the interactions will change you for life!

    Cons

Housekeeping itself sucks. Not for the faint of heart or squeamish!

    Advice to Management

Most of the management is cast first and does a great job managing their cast and leading them to put the guest first!

    Pros

    Work/Life balance.
Most people were friendly and helpful
Everyone WANTS to do awesome work

    Cons

Focus on growing egos instead of doing awesome work. No interested in maximizing resources to complete work or involve everyone. Most work goes to those who are favored at the time based on who's paying lip service to management.

Too many layers of management. Too many review cycles. This is the epitome of design by committee with no one decision maker. VP and Director levels often disagree on vision and lower levels have the blame placed on them.

    Advice to Management

Focus on skills and actual work of employees not they're ability to say "as you wish". Reduce reviews by trusting middle management and team members.

Learning from a Fortune 500 company through an internship, ability to take courses through Disney on leadership, and gaining customer service experience from a company solely based on customer experience.

    Pros

Fun people to work with, fun atmosphere

    Cons

Terrible pay, way understaffed in certain areas. The reputation of Disney makes it difficult since guests never think that Disney has flaws! Can be very stressful! Much of the equipment is outdated and not functioning. Lower level jobs will hire anyone.

    Pros

The cast members are great, disney treats the cast members very well.

    Cons

They over work each of the cast members. Sometimes you may work really long hours but disney will pay you for it so that's nice.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work
