    I have been working at Diversicare Management Services full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    This company is saturated with intelligent caring staff, from the corporate support team to the front line staff. An exciting company to grow with.

    Cons

    A good challenge to have is growth, the company is in a growth period during a period that many companies are selling out of the industry. Growing pains may appear to be a con in the beginning, but in the end, what a great company to be aligned with!!

    I have been working at Diversicare Management Services full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Fortunate due to specific location,supportive excellent General Manager, excellent working conditions.ok health benifits and flexible hours, lucky to be in a relativly new location.

    Cons

    Inexperienced middle management, overwhelming amount of politics,trying to sell product as a five star hotel yet has policies and budget less than a long term care facility. Upper management lacks operational experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Each location must be run according the ethnicity of their residents and proximity. A luxury retirement can not be operated as long term care operation using identical menus etc, Retirement home residents pay upward of $4000.00 per month and only $200 is alocated toward food.
