    Pros

Great people employed at the law firm I worked at as well as the people employed at DTI below the management level.

    Cons

Company Mission Statement: It is far easier to underpay, and undervalue your employees while promising them the world in the way of career advancement and delivering on none of it; then once they have finally become fed up with the lies/b.s. and quit, hire another person to string along.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take the hundreds of millions of dollars you put in your pockets every year and invest a small portion of it back into your workforce.

Do the work and you'll have Job security for as long as you want to stay.

    Cons

    Pros

They are willing to hire "risky" candidates. Great for someone who needs a job with poor qualifications on paper.

    Cons

Maximum amount of flex PTO of 15 days (only after working here for 3 years) 10 days before that. ZERO opportunity for growth. Job grades are not even established. Do not expect to grow here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees like people. Take their needs seriously to retain talent. Establish employee grading standards and hire managers with management experience. Give people room to grow.

I worked at Document Technologies full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

DTI is a great company to start at with no job experience in the field and/or minimal education. Coworkers are vibrant and fun. The main office (NTC) is clean and in a great location.

    Cons

Upper management does not recognize and reward strong, dedicated employees. Employee turn around was pretty high. Raises are laughable and bonuses are laughable. Morale is low.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please reinvest into your employees. The talent is there, but most leave to go somewhere else once they're able.

I have been working at Document Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Every job and company is what you make it. Knowing that, I am very pleased with my time here at DTI (4+ years) thus far. My job is both challenging and rewarding. It allows me the flexibility I desire in terms of my schedule and also pushes me to go out of my comfort zone. In my time at DTI, I've learned a great deal from upper management. I am satisfied with where the company has been and where we are going.

    Cons

Benefits could be better. HOWEVER, Benefits at similar sized companies are in line with the benefits package DTI offers. My only recommendation would be for DTI to re-evaluate their PTO policies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to push employees to be their best and ask the difficult questions.
