    Pros

monthy bonuses based on sales goals which can mean over $10k a year sometimes for high volume store managers, employee stock program, 401k with profit sharing, if you work hard & follow policies your job will always be secure,

    Cons

set schedules for SM, constant employee turnover due to low wages, you will almost never interact with anybody higher than your DM outside of 4th quarter meetings, due to low payroll Store Manager will spend lots of time doing cashier/stocking jobs leaving little time to actually manage unless youre willing to work 55-60 hours per week, very low yearly raises

    Advice to Management

Speak to your Store Managers more. You'd be surprised at how much they can help the company. Paying your employees enough to actually make them care about their store would help with the constant turnover & morale problems. It's hard to keep a steady crew of part time employees when every other store is paying better.

    Pros

open opportunity to advance with new acquisition of FD stores. Must be DM or higher to actually work at potential

    Cons

Low payroll to operate stores, Hard to hire quality help at current wage scale, expectations unreasonable for hours aloud at store level.

    Advice to Management

Stop managing as all stores are equal

    Pros

Great company with a lot of growth. Motto is "The Thrill of the Hunt" as everything is really just a one dollar. The people are down-to-earth and enjoyable to be around every day.

    Cons

The amount of work and the hours can be difficult since its a "do what it takes to get the job done" culture.

    Advice to Management

Remember that people work to live; not live to work.
