I have been working at Dollar Tree part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

It's easy work and all you really need to do is show up and its all good. If you try it doesnt take a lot to be the best in the store.

    Cons

You might as well not have a social life because you get called in on a daily basis if you have bad co-works. It has horrible pay and if you get a raise it wont matter if they keep raising minimum wage up to what you got your raise for. Also if you ask off even in advance try not to plan cause you most likely wont get it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try better with getting managers not to just sit on their phones all the time and compensate for for minimum wage increase for those who just got a raise.

    Pros

Dollar Tree is a rapidly growing company and encourages internal development and promotes from within. The opportunity to relocate anywhere in the United States is easy.

    Cons

Dollar Tree has very high expectations for their stores. Thsee demands can easily become overwhelming at times. The job is not for anyone.

    I worked at Dollar Tree

    Pros

Just stocking shelves and dealing with customers. The pay was low, $9 for overnight and $8.50 regular. I never broke out in a sweat.

    Cons

What made me nuts was the random way items were sent out to be stocked. There is a minimum amount of products you must stock during the shift collected by box tags. I remember having to stock 100 packages of paper table top sheets in an already packed section. There's already a 100+ here. Well still gotta hang it.

I worked at Dollar Tree part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

flexible schedule, you know your responsibilities, training not required

    Cons

You're underpaid for the number of responsibilities you have. Very repetitive and boring. "Braindead job". Minimum-near minimum wage

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's a retail store, it's not really ran any differently than any other retail store. No advice.

I have been working at Dollar Tree part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

All of the management and co workers are very open minded and have great personalities.

    Cons

I am only getting a maximum of 15 hours a week and i have 2 kids to support. my whole check pretty much goes to daycare.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

would be wonderful to cut down on the amount of employees so some employees can get the hours they need instead of getting a second job.
