I have been working at Domani Studios full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Domani is a dynamic environment staffed with some of the smartest, creative and inspiring people I have worked with. There are high standards for creativity which requires going the extra mile, but as far as agencies go, work-life balance is good - better than it was a few years back when the company was in transition.

The team is pretty tightly knit and collaborative. It’s a good, diverse culture with solid perks. The company is definitely on a growth path with bigger pitches and clients consistently coming in.

    Cons

If you don't like changing gears Domani may not be the place for you. Priorities change frequently and there is a constant evolution to adapt to the expectations and needs of clients, sometimes it's easy to get a little lost.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Domani has a great future ahead - Share your vision frequently so that newer employees feel connected to the overall goals.

    Pros

Outstanding creative, strong company leadership, and the one of the best development teams in the business. My first project here won FWA SOTD, was recognized in CommArts, etc. Domani has an excellent reputation among competitor agencies, and success there means something to people in the industry. B-players will not last — that's a huge plus for the A-team. A healthy mix of long-term direct client relationships and interesting one-off projects keeps things fresh. Great people.

    Cons

Domani is a demanding, fast-paced environment — it's not for the faint of heart, and it helps to have a strong sense of purpose going in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More creative resources, more good strategy people, and more and bigger pitches will increase the awesome. Keep on rocking.

Decent place with hard and eager workers under an uneasy political climate

I have been working at Domani Studios

    Pros

Brilliant work on both creative and development fronts. Really inspiring overall. Wonderful place if you're just starting out and are eager to learn. Great for those who want to grow into a role. Creative climate seems to be maturing and appears to be heading in a solid direction.

    Cons

Very high turnover of employees. Most producers last half a year since it can be a very stressful fast paced environment. The management can be fickle and confusing at times. Developers last a little longer. Too few designers for the amount of responsibilities and tasks bestowed per week. Yet the design team is the most solid and long lasting even if small. Not many women, definitely a boys club. Could be more diverse and open armed to change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to delegate more responsibilities in a more even and fair way. Need to stop favoring employees or publicly ridiculing others. Need to hire more diverse roles and allow those positions to grow.

Toxic environment, poorly managed, no human resources, bad for women.

I have been working at Domani Studios (less than an year)

    Pros

Creative team is inspiring and seem to stick around longer than most employees. Domani has a good reputation among digital agencies. Client list is reputable with some long term players. Cutting edge work.

    Cons

Some members of the executive team's method of management is intimidation, public humiliation, and harassment. Very few women last there more than a few months. People wanting to keep their Visa's seem to last there longer than most. Turnover is extremely high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire a human resources person.
