I have been working at Domino's

    Pros

I enjoy the atmosphere. I love meeting new people. I love the challenges. The employees are like a family. I have learned alot.

    Cons

I think the hardest part is predicting our sales. If I order to much food we waist. If I order to little we run it of product.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The only piece of advice I can give to upper management is, I feel they should pay closer attention to what the people they put in charge are doing.

I have been working at Domino's full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, high standards, lots of incentives to make extra bonuses, great food and service.

    Cons

Worthless employees. With any fast food minimum wage job you will get the scum of the earth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Help balance work and home life by not setting goals that require management to live at work. It isn't healthy. I am required to work 52 hours a week but regularly work 75+.

    I have been working at Domino's part-time

    Pros

The management is more than willing to work around your school schedule, 2nd job etc. They just care that you devote whatever reasonable time to them you can.

Presuming you aren't a bunghole on the road they will do nothing but treat you with respect.

Extra pizzas are always a plus as well :D

    Cons

Management ca be horrid to customers in times of nastiness. You need to be 100% on your toes and treat the guest in your face EXTRA good in order to retain them as a customer.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Watch your managers and how they interact in times of customer complaints. Eating the cost of a few pizzas tonight can retain a customer for life.

I have been working at Domino's part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Your coworkers can really make or break the experience, and when crunch time hits they're the ones you're counting on to keep things moving. The culture is great, and it's nice that upper management still comes in to visit individual stores and see how things are going. Area managers knew my name within a few weeks of starting. Scheduling was also very flexible, you can pretty much always get a day off if you need it as long as you plan ahead.
Also, any time there are errors or cancelled orders, we get to eat the food so that it doesn't totally go to waste!

    Cons

Shifts make it hard to know how your night will go, since the end of a shift is determined by demand rather than by having reached a certain hour. The time you get to go home on any given night is completely dependent on how busy things are. Makes it hard to make any plans for after work.

I have been working at Domino's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

You get to see how a restaurant operates from a customer service perspective as well as a cook perspective.

    Cons

Not everybody orders pizza during the day, so most hours are in the evening.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

How well your store runs is how you treat your employees. Be friendly and treat them with respect and it will be smooth sailing.
