    Pros

Easy to advance from a lifeguard, to a manger, to a supervisor! Great way to meet people around the community and get to know families within the neighborhood

    Cons

Managing young teens can be tedious....alot of responsibility (saving lives as we liked to call it) given to young teens which can be stressful

I have been working at Douglas Aquatics

    Pros

Leniency when it comes to taking time off. Management is encouraging and straight forward. There are no hidden agendas and supervisors make sure to communicate with all the employees.

    Cons

There is not much room for professional growth. It's basically just a summer job college kids have, which is not a problem for me, considering I am one of them. The only thing is, they tend to underpay their higher guards like Assistant Manager and Manager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I honestly think that everything is well communicated and that the only thing they could possibly improve on is consistency throughout the company.
