    I worked at Dovel Technologies

    Pros

Smaller company but well connected with several decision makers in the Government and Industry.

    Cons

Just like any smaller consulting company, never know when project contracts end.

I have been working at Dovel Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice people, good working environment (if you are part of the circle)

    Cons

Leadership is only looking for profits. If they can cut positions on projects to increase money for leadership, they will.
Classic Too Many Kings and not enough Peasants.
They will try to squeeze everything they can out of lower paid positions in the hopes they don't have to pay real talent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Strategy of keeping the inexperienced personnel and letting the experienced personnel go, is going to come back to bite you. Good luck

I have been working at Dovel Technologies full-time

    Pros

Small company, most people are friendly, nice company events, somewhat flexible schedules allowed--many people work offsite, company-hosted breakfasts on Friday, lunches and other treats from time to time, most people seem to enjoy their jobs

    Cons

Management hierarchy is unclear (multiple supervisors on some projects), HR often stands around talking about employees' salaries so there's no one to complain to, depending on the project you either have too much or too little work (which leaves a lot of people standing around talking while others are taking client calls), still uncertain about the opportunities for advancement in certain positions, haven't figured out why some local people work from home all the time and others aren't allowed to...think it depends on which supervisor you talk to that day, PM team's communication with functional team is ok but again not always clear, seems to be high turnover, many weekends and nights depending on the time of year (proposals....). No comp time either for those late nights, but usually someone orders food and you can show up late the next day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Everyone on a project should be on about the same page
