    Pros

Lots of openings for managers, supervisors, analysts. If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere.

    Cons

Director and above spots rarely ever open-pay out in the field for those employees is lacking.

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time

    Pros

Well maintained facility, automated operations, better than average pay.

    Cons

Management yells a lot at employees. Blame fixing culture. Tattle tell culture. Minimal teamwork. Cliques. Poor training.

    Advice to Management

Yelling and venting all your frustrations demotivates the work force and make them do just enough to not get yelled at.

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good way to get fit.

    Cons

Extremely physical job requiring you do the same thing every single day. If you don't like thinking and want an excellent workout this might be a good fit for you. The pallet jacks and carts that you have to use are often in poor condition requiring much more effort than would otherwise be needed. The pay is poor compared to other companies merchandisers and the insurance deductible for a family plan is 3,000.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees, keep work week to 40 hours, pay a competitive salary.

    Pros

Many good team members that continue to help drive the business forward. Overall good Collaboration between all groups.

    Cons

Need to put more people against a business that is moving forward to keep the momentum going and not to cause analysis paralysis.

    Pros

Supervisor has confidence in clerks' abilities. Friendly and helpful clerks who are team oriented.

    Cons

Shift change is rough Lack of communication between departments Hard to take breaks or lunch Upper management could use a seminar on dealing with people and staff.

    Advice to Management

Offer proper training to supervisors and enforce a facility-wide standard operating procedure. Every shift has a different standard making it impossible to be on the same "page".

    not worth it

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

No micro management. great for none desk workers

    Cons

No management or supervision. Not trustworthy. Part time employees are expected to clean up after full timers. When I asked a store manager why he never asked the full time person to clean his area he replied that he does but the employee still would not do it. Had to drive too far and would sometimes have 15 stores a day. Cant coordinate with delivery drivers. When I was finally promoted to full time I still had to work behind other employees and was promised my own route. Was called in to discuss me getting my own route and drive 30 miles just to be told I was being laid off due to change of management and budgets cuts. Was told they wanted to keep me but I had not joined the union yet and they had other employees in the union that were terrible but they had to gather more cause before they could fire them. was offered my job a month later. was guaranteed my own route. instead of being in my town my route included towns sometimes 40 miles away and no one had worked the stores in a while so they were a mess. much more

    Advice to Management

Get into the stores more and stop over working the few employees you have that you know will work

    Pros

The actual work isn't bad. And your checks look okay.

    Cons

The hours and very strinuous work. The management doesn't care about the workers. They will tell you anything. They over work you for okay pay.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your staff. If you couldn't do it then don't push your staff to. We are not robots.
