A very demanding place to work, I would recomend people who are single and have no family commitments.

I have been working at Dreams Plc

    Pros

Basic pay good with open ended commission structure. OTE £35k for managers, can be more in busy stores. Good job security and good prospects for promotion.

    Cons

Since the sale of Dreams by Mike Clare it has become an oppressive place to work, targets are very high and senior management are lowering commission structure on a monthly basis. It is understandable since it is being run by an equity company now and they need to make cuts where they can. There is no sick pay and you are expected to work without days off or any weekends off where the needs of the business require's. Area managers are under too much pressure to make targets and the needs of shop staff are not often considered. Not a place to work for people who have families.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to you staff, understand why all your long term members of staff are leaving.
