I have been working at Drexel University as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

Good benefits, large school. Drexel is a well known regional school so there is definitely a lot of changes going on to make it a better well-known national school.

    Cons

not a lot of growth opportunity, too much administrative hassle. Some colleges in the university are definitely not treated the same. Engineering and Business get most of the attention.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Drexel high administration really need to start thinking about increasing the reputation and prestige of the school instead of always trying to make a profit and increasing tuition to an obscene amount.

I have been working at Drexel University full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Friendly people. Average pay. A variety of different projects to work on. Opportunity to help students at various levels. Strong presence in modern technology trends. Clean campus. Good benefits.

    Cons

A lot of bureaucracy. Senior management is siloed. Often hard to get your voice heard. Little room for advancement. Going through a bit of transition right now.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just a reminder that we are all on the same team. A little communication between departments goes a long way. Too much push/pull at the upper level.
