I worked at DuPont full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Safety first, great people, pay, bonuses, recognition rewards, training/development opportunities, tuition reimbursement program, personal development, holidays, vacation, great culture, travel, global teams

    Cons

As with any huge corporation, change can take time and resources. Also, some employees are 3rd generation (DuPont is over 200 years olds!) and have a sense of entitlement because their parents and grandparents had it much better...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't lose touch with the employees in the field and plant sites. Resist the urge to be short sighted (quarterly stock returns v long term life/health of corporation).

I worked at DuPont as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent company. They have a unique culture and are very proud of their history. Core values are of utmost importance and are carried out on a daily basis. Worked with many great people. Everyone was more than willing to help me out and teach me the ropes.

    Cons

The company makes it seem like there are ample opportunities to gain employment after internship, however the amount of positions they have available is very limited. Additionally they are in the process of reorganizing the company so it was very hectic scheduling meetings.
