Pros – good package, prestegios, you will have a learn with good experience staff

Cons – no motivation. sudden calls from the office when you are with customers

Advice to Senior Management – motivate the staff. give freedom. and dont call them always for the staff meetings

Cons – There aren't many training opportunities offered to staff to allow them to further improve their skills.

Pros – Work-Life balance is good, however this is mainly due to lack of objectives. Not a good organization to work for if you are results oriented and a high achiever.

Cons – Senior management slacks off. Incompetent people are at senior positions which causes problems within departments. HR is not co-operative at all. 4 - 5 years can pass by without any promotions (even if you are a high achiever). Not a straight forward and open ended organization with respect to its employees.

Advice to Senior Management – Management need to have right people for senior level jobs. If the senior management is not right then that sets a bad example and vibe within the entire department. The employee appraisal system should be more systematic and effective. A lot of senior management do not take this exercise as a serious one and that discourages the morale of employees.

Pros – Past experience good domain development, good guidance, freedom and ownership of action, appreciation on delivery, excellent learning curve

Cons – Current experience directive management, unhealthy user attitudes, unhealthy worklife balance, extremely stressful with certain departments

Advice to Senior Management – The management should take a good look at the people who are supporting the backbone of the bank. Due respect and care should be given to old employees to retain them for the growth of the bank. Literals should not be taken to sharply as compared to the good done by the resources.
