    Pros

Relatively small company with a lot of direct lines to senior management, allowing for exposure and growth opportunities.

    Cons

Limited budgets for schooling are a minus. Things may be changing in the near future for this though.

    Advice to Management

Refer to my improvement point, investing in personnel is really important in my opinion.

    Pros

Flat organization with limited red tape.

    Cons

Layoffs are a seasonal occurrence (or were) during my time. I heard things have gotten more stable.

    Pros

Flexible working arrangements .... that is all

    Cons

Internal politics, so much unnecessary bureaucracy, constant change in middle management resulting in short term outlook - everybody wants to hit their bonuses before leaving (or being made to leave) at the end of the financial year.

    Advice to Management

Take a more long term view. Engage with your employees more.

    Pros

They offer insurance. Great place to pick up a chick.

    Cons

hHgh school environment & call center meat market. they never want you to make the Commission they promised. They move you around from team to team just to be sure you can't make any money. They even want you to work on Saturday and Sunday and holidays!

    Advice to Management

Fire all management and start over.

    Pros

They give decent compensation and good benefits. The on site cafeterias are subsidized.

    Cons

Risk averse culture. A lot of lifers that are more interested in protecting themselves than pushing things forward. Managers are often to busy to meet with those that work for them.

    Advice to Management

Promote people to management that want to manage people, not just work hard themselves. My four bosses over my five years at D&B cancelled more meetings with me than they kept.

    Pros

The people here are fantastic. There is real autonomy to get on with the job, and if you work hard and do a good job, you are recognised well for it. There is a really great atmosphere in the Dublin office, and the facilities are fantastic.

    Cons

Sometimes it can take a while to get things done as it is an old company. Also it can feel a bit chaotic at times, with a lot of chiefs and not enough doers. There has been a large turnover of staff in the Dublin office, but things have settled down more recently.

    Advice to Management

Not many people in Dublin know who we are, or that we're a great place to work. Would be good to see more of a presence at trade shows and employment fairs. Also, I think a good graduate program would benefit the company greatly.
