Like any big company, there can be some bureaucracy, but you'll quickly learn how to work around that to be successful in your role.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

The freedom to run your store as if it were yours. Great benefits

    Cons

Work EVERY Sat and Mon No relationship with upper management Constant email communication Harassment from upper management

    Advice to Management

Get younger more vibrant multi unit managers. People that aren't afraid to try new 2014 techniques not people that are sticking to the same strategies from when they graduated college in the 60's. Also make new employees aware that management with your company is merely temporary. In due time once sales are UNBELIEVEABLE we will sale the store to a franchise and not care about anything you have done for the company

    Pros

Friday is a 5 hour work day.

    Cons

The pay structure is not balanced for the performance. Company goals and objectives are unobtainable.

    Advice to Management

None to minimal although they try to tell you there is plenty.

    Pros

they have great people working there

    Cons

As any fast food company, their tuenover is huge, and the worst part, they don't care, especially in International, see how many International people they have get rid of since 2008 and you will know what I mean

    Advice to Management

Don't spend money in stupid sponsorships like that british soccer club just because your CEO is british and is a fan of the club, you don't even have a huge presence in the UK!

    Pros

Lot's of responsibility as the growth accelerates. Excellent product and always new in development. Strong in the East but Western states are showing some "pent-up" demand. Growth in western states should be the opportunity.

    Cons

Lot's of direction changes as the growth accelerates, but roll with it and adjust. Some confusion & contradiction over "strategy" with frequent local management changes. Best local management is coming from those folks in the ops position with experience from the older DD Markets (East Coast)...some have 10+ yrs with DD.

    Advice to Management

Use DD experienced management when you can find it. Experience is more credible with Franchisees and new staff.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, fun crew, free food, early and late hours

    Cons

Strict, super early shift, had to come in at 3 am to complete my task and was not allowed to clock in until 5 am

    Advice to Management

give more allotted time to the donut finisher or have two people come in to open the store

    Pros

Free food. Fun brand. Some good people in the business areas.

    Cons

You never know where you stand and could be layed off at any minute. Majority of real work is outsourced. Many in Info Tech are inexperienced and winging it including those in charge.

    Advice to Management

You need more worker bees and less middle management. Especially in the info tech area.
