I have been working at Dunkin' Donuts part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

I worked there for nearly 4 months it was a great job. FREE iced lattes and coffee were the best part!!!!!! Free donuts lol and a free meal every shift. 50% off anytime you came that you weren't working. It was an all around great job laid back and very easy all you do is make coffees and get people donuts. You have to do the usual restaurant clean up; trash, sweep/mop, clean restaurants best Job ever

    Cons

The only con was having to wake up extremely early because it is a coffee job the peak business hours are early mornings.
It can get quite slow so you may be a little bored at times

I worked at Dunkin' Donuts full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Free coffee and donuts after closing, learning fast paced customer service, independent working.

    Cons

Overly critical manager, rude customers and bad workplace ethics are the worst part of the job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more professional, do not take excessive personal calls, treat employees fairly and award employees for hard work. Instead of telling employees what to do all the time in a rude manner, the manger should approach employees in a kind fashion. Employees cannot do 2-4 things at a time, this will cause confusion and distress. Payroll is another shoddy work ethic involved with management, a manger should clock out when he/she leaves the store and should not call in to get overtime pay.

I worked at Dunkin' Donuts part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You have the autonomy to make decisions like prepare new orders for customers on demand, for example, if you run out of certain donuts then you get the opportunity to make them special for your customers. Work-life balance is good, as long as you are not pulling 12 hour shifts at the work place. Training is provided, where computer log in modules help you learn what you will be doing in store. Excellent company to work for, if you want to work around food as everyone working there is involved in making donuts, sandwiches, bagels, muffins and coffee etc.

    Cons

Work modules are provided in store to learn your job, however it would be beneficial if they are provided before starting the work, so that one can expect what they are doing rather than making the mistakes at work in front of the customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The managers hired should go through aggressive training where the upper management should see if the manager is the right fit for their branch. The manager can make it or break for the employees. My former manager was terminated from her position because she has issues working with females. Believe it or not, she favored guys over girls. A former complaint was filed against her, by few employees and she was fired.
