    Pros

Benefits seem ok; Wages are only good because they don't realise non London people don't get paid as much :)

    Cons

Technology given to staff is woefully slow and you should feel grateful for it.
All decisions on technology / strategy is driven by people who they are a startup but have never worked in such and environment.
They see ideas in blogs and think they should run with 'their version' which makes everything worse.
    HR is a joke
Security is a joke and inhibit any work.
    Paranoid culture.
    Full of deluded people.
HUGE disparity in wages between grades and even within grades; big taboo to discuss wages.

    Advice to Management

If you want to be like Facebook, apple or google actually hire some of them; don't acquire companies and sap the lift out of them.

    Pros

dh employees have a lot to be happy about. Work/life balance is great. We have one of the best visionary MD's in the industry focused on growth and stability. A lot of management have little commercial experience outside of dh which leads to the below.

    Cons

The same things that make dh great also make this a highly frustrating place work. Collaboration is sometimes too much, and delivery is hampered as a result. Dh need to adopt a clear technology vision and regain efficiencies across markets to remain competitive in what is becoming a highly competitive market.

    Advice to Management

With the structure of dh, management need to adopt an organizational structure to better service clients and wow the customer. There are some very talented people leaving, and dh could do more to retain bright individuals.

    Pros

Dynamic business with historical a vibrant culture. This has reduced more recently given the uncertainty. Good employee benefits and reasonable work / life balance

    Cons

Constant changes to the business make it difficult to have a structured career plan. Training is not as good as it can be. High staff turnover

    Advice to Management

Although communication is good, doing more to support employees with their careers. Rewarding employees for their loyalty, this is done to a certain degree but still a lot more work to do.

    Pros

Open and friendly culture, although the inevitable politics at higher levels. A great place to start your career - top clients and provides a good transition from university into the world of work. A strong social side. Potential to progress quickly if you take and deliver on opportunties. Also options around international assignments.

    Cons

A lot of management homegrown and some not as experienced / worldly as they believe they are, however overall a strong leadership team. Differing opinions on the influence of Tesco in recent years.

    Pros

Great culture, strong and admired CEO, some unique benefits, pleasant working environment, highly profitable, smart and friendly people, ambitious and growing, truly global, little hierarchy, incredible data assets.

    Cons

a little too tied to Tesco, some Tesco staff brought in who are less supportive of the dh culture, some expensive centralisation which hasn't worked that well

    Advice to Management

    invest in the markets more

    Pros

The people are amazing lots of talented and charismatic colleagues.
Very friendly reception and the hierarchy is very flat
Training opportunities are great and the company is very accommodating regarding family life

    Cons

The company used to have the feel of a small company but has now become large and the dis-economies of scale are starting to creep in.
There has historically been a big layer of middle management making career progression slower

    Advice to Management

Take more risks in the marketplace and learn to be quicker to react to competitors

    Pros

Fun, collegiate work culture. Lots of social events and after-work activities. Helpful colleagues.

    Cons

Lack of real Executive Level decision making and clear accountabilities.

    Pros

good work-life balance, nice environment, friendly people
    data expertise

    Cons

The company is nice, but all that matters is who your line manager is. If you can't align with your manager in terms of ways of working, your development goal, then you won't enjoy as much.

    Advice to Management

Some managers need to be open minded and stop under estimating employees, especially for junior levels.
Gain credibility by the actually contributing to the team work.

    Pros

Great Culture and friendly atmosphere. Employees are made to feel valued - for example permanent employees get choice of laptops and there are lots of social activities. Amazing working environment at Head Office, great offices and very flexible dress policy. Everyone including senior management very open and approachable.

    Cons

Rather repetitive duties, high volumes of work made it impossible to gain exposure/training in other areas specific to my role.
