I worked at Dyersburg State Community College full-time (More than 5 years)
state funded position, so retirement package is good; some nice coworkers; decent opportunities to network with people outside of the college.
president is an extreme, micro-manager; "spy" culture --- no loyalties among peers; moderate turnover.
Advice to Management
This place will never improve until the the president retires. She is a micro-manager who has no patience for employees' commitments (such as families) outside the job. Once you get on her bad side, pack your bags. Your time is short. Vindictive, cruel.
