    I worked at DynCorp International

    Pros

DynCorp operates all over the world, offers great benefits, and gives the potential to progress within the company, and pays well. DynCorp provided me a great opportunity to work for a strong defense contractor and the ability to travel the world.

    Cons

The worst part of working for DynCorp was the distance from family. While I was granted the opportunity to travel the world, being half the world away from my family for extended periods of time was what ultimately prompted me to resign.

I have been working at DynCorp International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The pay is good. Internal opportunities exists. If you work for the U.S. Based DI, the benefits are outstanding. If you work for the foreign subsidiaries, there are lots of opportunities to work in foreign lands.

    Cons

Much of the work is based on government contracts therefore the long term stability is challenging. If you are looking for a long term company, you have to be sure what you are applying for.
