    Pros

Fly all over the world, build great experience that would be hard to get anywhere else, lots of responsibility entrusted, great for learning and growing.

    Cons

Tough schedules, remote management that often didn't get what things were like in the field, wearing lots of hats that amounted to multiple full time jobs.

  2. Impressive company, don't come here for the paycheck, though

    Pros

Dynamic is a very fitting name for the company, they do the most incredible things with King airs, like spraying mosquitos at night 300'Agl with NVG's, Aerial survey for anything imaginable, Fire Management, Intelligence for the military in war zones, and numerous other projects. Management goes after new projects and tries new contracts constantly. Sharp group of pilots! Haven't found a slacker among the group, and everyone knows their airplane well. Certain segments of the company pay well, (those in a war zone or with extended rotations away from home). Flying unique missions all over the globe. Good health coverage

    Cons

You need to ask yourself if you want to fly King Airs that flew in the Vietnam War, with airframes that have tens of thousands of hours on them, powered by engines thousands of hours past TBO...for about $11 an hour as a FO. Captains make slightly more. Excessively frugal business practices hamper daily operation.

    Advice to Management

Incentivise your quality pilots to stay by paying a living wage.

I worked at Dynamic Aviation full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Beautiful area in which to live and work. Interesting work with a high technology component.

    Cons

Company appears to bank of the desirability of its location and that perspective employees will accept less to work there. Salaries are lower and benefits are significantly less than the rest of the industry: - only 6 paid holidays, - Vacation limited to 2 weeks (after 2 years of service) until 8 years of service. Then adds 1 day per year thereafter - 25% 401(k) match, - 1 day bereavement leave for father-in-law or mother-in-law.

I worked at Dynamic Aviation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I worked at the CMF base in Los Alamitos, CA. The flying and the maintenance are very routine and the work environment is fun. A lot of folks here with little experience just out of school or no turbine time. They have a great manager right now though and are open to suggestions on how things could be done better. There is movement right now to upgrade from an FO to Captain. Overall a great place to build multi-engine turbine PIC time. I flew 60-80 hours a month, that I was able to log as PIC, total time was pretty close to double that. You really get to know the LA airspace an ATC.

    Cons

Lots of people in and out, some just want the turbine time and don't care about the maintenance. No night time here. A little cheap on the maintenance side of things. Minimum of one year commitment for no real training. Very diverse pilot group, some with lots of experience, some with very little. Still some attitude that the Captain is the pilot and the FO is just there because the company says he has to be.

    Advice to Management

Take pride in your job and what you're trying to accomplish.

    Pros

Very satisfying. There is no better feeling than knowing your work is helping your country.

    Cons

Little choice about what team you will work with.

    Advice to Management

Talk to employees rather than just inspecting their work.
