    Pros

the product and service are best in the industry

    Cons

corporate partners and senior management did little to prevent several contract and banking issues that were clearly foreseeable leading to the demise of a great operations and sales management team

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

sell all of the assets you have left to a large orthopedic or neurologic medical equipment manufacturer or distributor as quickly as possible to allow customers and patients alike access to your incredible product

I worked at Dynasplint full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The product is good and you learn how to deal with different types of accounts and work directly with patients.

    Cons

You used to be able to make good money as a consultant but those days are long gone. The consultants weren't valued and as changes were happening in the healthcare market place, upper management just stuck their heads in the sand. Once the financials issues came into play, it all went downhill from there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The compensation package needs to be changed to coincide with the work completed by the reps. Don't mislead your consultants with making their target numbers unobtainable.

    Pros

I enjoyed working in Dynasplint. I worked in manufacturing which is probably why My review is different from others posts. All others seem to be from sales. There was clear objectives and knew exactly what was required of me.

    Cons

Like everyone , more money would be nice, but I am making the same money niw in a different company

    I worked at Dynasplint full-time

    Pros

I had great Regional and Divisional managers and the product was great.

    Cons

Corporate management was awful. Obviously since there is a lawsuit and the layoffs. The CEO does not take any responsibility for the financial problems and is very misleading. The culture and values are not in line with how the company really operates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop lying to employees and take responsibility. Also, replace most of upper management with people who actually care about employees.

    Pros

Loved my job. It was not your typical medical sales job in that you actually got to work with patients and see their progress. It was very rewarding. The product is superior to competitors. Pay. Team oriented.

    Cons

Company went throug financial difficulties and laid off 70% (500) of employees with no warning. Working on Tuesday, job hunting on Wednesday.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good luck coming back from this disaster.

I worked at Dynasplint full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Minimal direct supervision/micromanagement. Flexibility for morning or afternoon tee times at the drop of a hat.

    Cons

Upper management issues everywhere. No stability throughout the company and your lucky to last past 6 months. Management continually changing protocols/monthly goals and quotas. Very low salary for all the work that is done by the reps. Insurance reimbursment issues make quotas very difficult to hit. Each rep is only given $120 a month for an expense account which makes marketing to certain accounts/doctors almost impossible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take away one, two or maybe evern three of the 15 hats that have to be worn by the reps...
