All staff members are friendly, lively and get the work done no matter what may come... All workers working for this company are Intelligent, diligent and smart.

    Advice to Management

Environment should be a little less tensed and more fun.

    Pros

None; other than some of the other employees who are good people in a bad situation (until they can find another job). Stay far away from this place.

    Cons

Those 2 quotes above are from another employee who quit after 1 week. They kind of say it all. One employee who was hired as a programmer but told to sit in an office and watch a monitor for errors left without notice and didn't even come back for his paycheck! The only job I ever had that was worse than this was the company where one boss shot the other dead then killed himself. This place is the most abusive, bullying, forced-unpaid-overtime, crappy-outdated-system-based, miserable workplace I ever came across. There is a full-time recruiter on staff because people quit faster than they can hire them! You will be screamed at in front of the entire office for doing work based on insufficient information, be hired as a developer but told to close 4 support tickets a day (no understanding some tickets are small and some huge) before your dev work can start, and be subjected to every made-up excuse in the book as to why you don't deserve a raise (I never saw anyone get one in the 2 years I was there). All the dozens of developers are working on one single copy of Visual Studio! In 2012 they were still in VS 2008 and they used Source Safe!! So no merging, databases were backed up by taking the system down once a month or so! H1-B visa holders are subject to the most outrageous mistreatment and threats with no recourse. In short, there is no reason to work here unless you are literally starving and about to be evicted, and understand that, with the long hours and location in the middle of nowher,e you will find it extremely hard to get out of this place once you start.

    Advice to Management

There is nothing anyone can say that will stop them abusing their employees; maybe a class-action lawsuit. All I can say is upper management does not understand basic economics, as they don't seem to understand there is a time cost to constantly interviewing and hiring and teaching new employees (teaching is barely done anyway), and they don't understand it costs them to lose institutional knowledge when long-time employees quit. They only stay in business because they are the cheapest option.

    Pros

EC Infosystems is a service oriented company and its first priority is to provide excellent customer service to its customers. I have seen the company recognize and greatly reward the efforts of dedicated employees who work hard to achieve these goals and contribute to company success and growth. I have been very pleased with the way EC Infosystems has treated me. All I can say is that it takes the effort of every employee to make a company a better place.

    Cons

Need to show a lot of dedication to be promoted.

    Advice to Management

Continue the good work to reward and give raises to deserving employees. Try best not to hire negative personalities that disrupt the environment.

    Pros

Pay can be decent, better than nothing.

    Cons

Higher-ups like to take no responsibility for the state of the company and treat employees like easily replaceable sweatshop workers. It's a constant game of pointing fingers at who to blame for everything that goes wrong. Everyone should be responsible for their actions, but that should extend to management as well. Higher-ups also post phony positive reviews on here to balance out the overwhelming number of negative reviews, making personal attacks on negative reviewers and calling them "hopeless cases".

    Advice to Management

Management is incredibly delusional with what's really going on. They seal themselves off from the rest of the office and pretend everything is okay as they look for scapegoats for their blatantly unethical practices. Call it a "performance based position" that "weeds out having to work with lazy people" all you want, there's a serious problem when you can manage to lose employees almost every week.

    Pros

Building has plenty of parking and clean bathrooms.

    Cons

Avoid this company! Your mental and physical health and career will be damaged by working here! It is an extremely toxic work environment. Very high stress space with no recognition and only abuse as reward. Meaningless titles without additional compensation are given out to justify doubling and tripling workloads. Management places all blame on employees when the incomplete software services they sell fails to work and takes all credit for any successes the employees achieve. Employee turnover is astounding. The employees who continue to work there are in fear of losing their jobs on a daily basis and are generally depressed. Communications is one-way, from the top down only and employee turnover is horrific, due directly to the most immature, unprofessional and abusive management imaginable! Management maintains a caste system within the company, wherein once an employee is hired is then treated like second-class servants. Two attributes management shares, zero integrity and zero leadership. Any agreements made during your interview will be completely ignored. All expectations for what you are to accomplish in your job are constantly changed on a whim and never in writing. Management is dysfunctional in office, unbalanced and regularly enjoys verbally abusing employees out in the open work office area. Video cameras pointed into the office record and track employees every movement. Project management non-existent. No human resources management on-site, as anyone hired for HR quit under duress. If you are an HR professional, ignore this company. If you are a consultant, do not take assignments from this company. If you are a developer, do not take a job here as you'll work with outdated platforms, software and development tools thereby your marketability in the future will stagnate. If you are a help desk/IT professional, do not work here as you will be required to work overtime without compensation, lie to clients and lose credibility as a professional. If you are a technical writing profession, ignore job postings from this company, as every word you write will be questioned and in the name of perfection, you will never complete any assignment. If you are a training/development professional, look elsewhere, as every project you intend to deliver will not be funded, supported and shut down. If you are a management professional, do not take a job here, as your abilities to manage and lead business will be enormously diminished. If you are an energy marketer, do not invest your capital, time or energies with this company; there will be many issues, deflected responsibility onto utilities and deliver minimum support to your organization. If you are a vendor, do not take any contracts, you will not be paid on time or in full. Ignore the job postings and look elsewhere. You have been warned!

    Advice to Management

Too hopelessly consumed with self-importance and mania, they enjoy tormenting employees to make themselves look good. Suffer great failure and possibly gain some much needed humility.

    Pros

    Cons

Its sad to see how the Indian workers are treated. It's like the Management is this master and they must bow down to him. There is no respect for the employees what so ever. Management act like egotistical fools that don't know the first thing about managing a group of developers. Unfortunately because of this they lost many great people that would've been a huge contribution to the products and services they provide. All the employees need to get together and file a class action law suite but their to afraid of losing their jobs and/or visa sponsorship. Your forced to work overtime and without pay because your salary. The excuse is their behind in work but the reality of it is they will always be behind because of the high turnover rate you'll never get ahead. Customers: Sorry you were every lied to by me but I had no choice. Everything anyone's every told you about meter readings or any other mess ups were all lies. The problem was the processing or the application on our side. We were forced to blame the utility companies and/or anything other than ourselves. Don't get into a contract with them because it's designed to screw you and protect themselves. Employees: Wake up... You know the place is not for you. Start looking for a real job where your work is valued and your respected. The treatment at EC was disgusting and I'm embarrassed to say I worked there. Start documenting all the confrontations and mistreatment. Get a group together and head down to the county court house (its not far from the office oddly enough). File that law suite and you won't have to work in that sweatshop environment anymore. Good luck...

    Advice to Management

    1. Take management courses 2. Treat your staff the same way you expect to be treated 3. Don't lie anymore - it's sad!

    Pros

I've been working with EC Infosystems for more than a year now and this is one of the most amazing companies to work for. EC Infosystems has grown so much so far and I am proud to be an employee of such a rewarding company. It is a company for those who can accept challenges and work above and beyond to get results. This is a fast growing company and a perfect match for those who wants to grow equally fast. EC Infosystems is open to new ideas and recently implemented some organizational changes to harness talent from different avenues. Senior management recognizes and rewards hard and smart work.

    Cons

EC Infosystems is not for those who expects a raise without raising their performance benchmarks.
