Company has HIGH standards for world class customer service and even higher standards for mystery shop scores, some not up to the challenge view this as a negative.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at ECCO Sko

    Pros

Excellent product line with substantial marketing to back up the product. Product had a unique fit that equated to comfort. The design of the golf shoes were unique at the time. Easy to sell in and it sold through when positioned correctly.

    Cons

    Independent rep w/ no benefits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue what you are doing but trust that your reps are out working hard to promote the product.

I have been working at ECCO Sko

    Pros

The product is one of the best on the market
You feel good helping people with messed up feet
    It's an international company
Free shoes every 6 months and awesome discount

    Cons

Corporate's left hand doesn't know what the right is doing
    Unorganized
Product given to us does not fit the needs of our customers, even though we've said what we need
Part-time management does not get any benefits
Shops are end all be all of the store in terms of customer satisfaction

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My general manager was awesome, but upper management would give us directives and then we would receive an email from another manager telling us not to do what the other manager stated. Neither manager was communicating with one another. Some major sales events that we were held accountable for were only given the day before the event with no prior notice. Get Organized! Don't base everything on shops, as there were quite a few we proved that the shopper didn't even come into the store.

    I worked at ECCO Sko

    Pros

Its a small company that works effeciently and gives a warm family oriented approach with lots of little perks to the company's appreciation through all levels of employment. They offer a great benefits package.

    Cons

Due to small size of the company there is not much turn around and advancement is limited. Salary tends to be on the lower side of average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is not much advice to offer except for stronger cross training both within and between departments or a "hands-on" orientation day so employees can understand thier role in the flow of the operation.
