    Pros

Lots of free food. Liberal PTO policy. Good benefits.

    Cons

New staff are treated like untouchables. Many cliques. Staff is unfriendly and can be plain rude at times. Sink or swim attitude. Your expected to figure things out for yourself and are dinged if you make an honest mistake. Bad product with many flaws and bugs and staff is expected to pretend like it is great. Management focused on making money and can care less about the staff or day to day issues. Sweeps problems under the rug.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your staff and care about them as much as you care about making money. Train staff properly and encourage teamwork. Many people are deeply unhappy and hostile to each other. Pay attention to what is happening in the office. Create a better product..

    Pros

Successful, forward-thinking, and creative organization. Chief Executive Officer/Founder is an excellent figurehead and a great role model for how to treat employees. Physical office environment is comfortable for most departments, snacks and frequent company-provided lunches are nice. Product offering is well received in the marketplace. Overall, this was a good place to be employed.

    Cons

Seems like the organization is trying to maintain its “small company” identity, but is starting to succumb to big company politics and egos. Too many closed-door / closed-blind meetings. Management styles vary widely, and range from participative/motivating to authoritarian/micromanaging. The frequent use of condescending and passive aggressive communication is evidently viewed as acceptable behavior, and due to this I would not recommend this employer to a friend.

    Advice to Management

Take a close look at management styles being used in all departments and decide how you want all of them to be managed, and make them consistent across the organization. Provide some depth to the organizational chart, too many employees reporting directly to C-Level management. Develop career paths for all levels of employees, not just in certain departments.

    Pros

The President really values his employees, they provide lunch and a stocked kitchen. Last week of the year off in addition to your vacation time.

    Cons

There are too many VP titles, there is no mentorship and the work environment is passive aggressive and unprofessional overall.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees, stop treating them poorly and always going out of your way to make people feel disposable.

They treat their employees well. They always have a stocked fridge. They also have a great vacation schedule. You get the entire week after Christmas off. Employees are friendly. Great work environment.

    Cons

Sick days are limited with no room for negotiation. There are challenges with a growing company which have been affecting employees. There are too many VP titles.
