I have been working at EFJohnson Technologies as an intern (more than a year)

    Pros

Great team of people, however I feel that they with all there knowledge are not fully used with the current projects.

    Cons

Again management chooses not understand the Engineering side of design IF you are a business major you only see the spread sheet not understanding what it takes to beat your competitor and its not just "we have no budget"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire an Engineer that's knows Hardware, the difference in an NPN and a PNP is one is Bi-Polar :)

I worked at EFJohnson Technologies full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

It was better than collecting unemployment

    Cons

The corporate culture was based on the whims of a rather self-centered CEO. The end product had known defects and the lack of quality had a life impacting, negative impact on the safety of military personnel. Product was shipped at the last minute in an effort to prove success to Wall Street. Unfortunately, all of the product was returned for re-work to repair the problems. That sent a strong message about company priorities to employees and customers.

    I worked at EFJohnson Technologies

    Pros

If you are looking for a challenge and an opportunity to enter the LMR arena in a Sales capacity, then EFJohnson Technologies is the place for you. They do have P25 equipment that is compatable to and interoperable with it's chief competitor.

    Cons

The company is small in size, thinks and acts as such. Constant turnover in Senior Mgmt. on a yearly basis which has negatively impacted the quality of its product offering. Due to the poor product quality, you virtually have no repeat business...this is especially true in the Federal Government marketplace.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Prepare a sound business plan and stick with it, Hire competent, seasoned Senior Management who truly understand the Sales world. Quality products that perform as promised will help to grow Market share...Management, must fully commit to consistancy of a QUALITY PRODUCT.
