I have been working at EFP Rotenberg full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Growing company thats trying to merge with other public accounting firms in different areas. Good management in most departments. Always striving to provide the best training possible for staff accountants.

    Cons

In trying to change the culture of the office those that are driving the campaign don't seem to really believe in the ideas behind it.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook

I worked at EFP Rotenberg full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Large client base of medium sized clients across many industries. Good potential for mid-level staff to "cut their teeth". Heavy audit and compliance exposure. Salary is average to above compared to similar sized firms.

    Cons

Extensive travel. Upper management does not have requisite managerial skills and are often company "lifers" with little exposure to industry best practices and current trends.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More attention to current management/leadership practices, it's not the 80's any more. The firm needs better organization and business practices

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
