    Pros

It is not a scam. Comes with paid training. You can earn hourly AND commission. Potential for great earnings. There's also the new experiences that come with learning the industry and working within a fast-paced call center/office environment. Solid management that is willing to work with you. Just be sure that you can handle constructive criticism and avoid the drama.

    Cons

Office drama and politics - comes with any job truthfully. So long as you mind your business and remain professional, it is all easily avoidable. Bias managers - Again, it's human nature. Some managers allow their friends to slide and are harsh with other employees. They should honestly treat everyone the same when it comes to company policies. Stressful industry - You honestly need a thick skin for this job. The consumers can be down right brutal and even racist (even if they're completely wrong about your race over the phone.). You need to be able to roll with the punches and remain professional while simultaneously focusing on your goal without breaking rules - Get money to make money if you want to make it to the top. Lack of job security - Potential outsourcing and high goals. Despite denial from management and corporate, the company seems to be gradually shifting their primary workforce to India. Ultimately, if you just need a job/experience and you're capable of handling stress, this works. They even promote within reliably without too much cliqueness if you endure it long enough. Otherwise, I'd label this sort of place as nothing more than a stepping stone to greater things.

    Advice to Management

Increase base pay or be less restrictive with demands for raise for your successful employees. More professionalism among the managers if they're not going to be equal. It's great that they can be laid-back sometimes but if they're going to take that approach then they need to do so with everyone. More honesty and straight-forward talk between Corporate and the rest of the staff. It is amazing sometimes how evasive answers really are when you strip away business jargon and realize they said nothing at all to answer your questions.

    Pros

Easy job if you can handle the consumers. Good benefits. They do give recognition when collectors shine.

    Cons

Horrible work environment. The place is dirty and they hire the most unprofessional people they can find. Even the "break" room is a zoo with people shouting you'd think it's a high school cafeteria. It's a breeding ground for drama. You can only get to the top of the ladder if you know someone. The bonus structure is a joke. We used to earn great bonuses, but that has since changed. Most managers are shady and only look out for their buddies (or office girlfriends) Low hourly pay means little motivation for employees.

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites. Treat all employees equally. Pay people a living wage if you want quality workers. Stop hiring everyone who applies for a job. Improve the bonus structure.

    Pros

Decent beginning pay and friendly co-workers. Highly competitive environment with individual and team set goals. The orientation training was in depth with frequent follow up assessments. Company policies would change often depending on office audits, including scripted dialogue with customers.

    Cons

Job became dull very quickly. With such a high pressure environment, co-workers would have a melt-down over individual and team goal frustration. Managers would disappear into a corner office or huddle in a corner for a chuckle or would refuse to show up for a few days or weeks at a time. No constructive criticism by team leadership.

    Advice to Management

Management has to be available to take over calls or answer questions or establish leadership during 'management meetings'. Team leads need to establish open communication for team members and address any areas for improvement without hesitation.

    Pros

Short commute. Free parking. They allow you to take 2 breaks and a lunch.

    Cons

Complete and utter lack of respect towards employees. Started working there with 3 other professional women. All of us were shocked and disgusted by the contempt and disrespect aimed at us by team leaders and supervisors. 3 of us quit pretty soon after starting. When I had my resume reviewed at a career center, the reviewed told me that this company had a very bad reputation for being jerks.

    Advice to Management

Expect your supervisors and team leaders to demonstrate courtesy and respect for employees, many of whom have far more experience and education than those in charge.

    Pros

Training and support was excellent. Managers are were very hands on providing support where needed and anticipated. Co Workers were also very supported in their team based operation. Opportunity to learn and encouragement to grow was fostered by managers and senior staff.

    Cons

Split shift schedule with weekend hours conflicted with work life balance. Bonus structure was nothing to be marveled. The base rate of pay was on the low end for such a high call volume.

    Advice to Management

Revise bonus structure to truly reward high achievers. Bring rate of pay up to match job responsibilities. Improve schedule requirements to help employees better manage work life balance.

    Pros

Almost 20$ plus comish. great boss and great people to be around

    Cons

Not much room for growth, one manager, 2 supervisors, 2 team leads The system of tiers means you start out fighting for the worst accounts in the office with 1/3 of the collectors that work there. Great challenge makes work fun

    Advice to Management

Offer more help and be more approachable

I would not work there again. People get promoted because of who they are and not how they perform their jobs.
