Pros
stable work environment, international work opportunities, fairness to employess, work & live balance is considered, good salaries.
Cons
limited career possibilities due to lack of growth of the business, no career planning, employees are sometimes treated as fixed assets, continuing focus on cost reduction, limited funds for new projects or technologies, conservative thinking and workenvironment without frills.
Advice to Senior Management
Define EPCOS culture, communicate more often, more transparency of decisions, get rid of old buddy network, create positive culture for disccusion, without fingerpointing. Do away with that only senior management takes the decisons, but empower lower level management to take own decisions. Leading by being a role model.
Pros
It is a German based multi-national company located in Singapore. The work stress is generally accepted. Colleagues or co-workers are friendly and generous.
Cons
Poor top management's management and micro managed. Employees are not respected by the top management. Poor office environment. Not that convenient to get to the office by public transportation.
Advice to Senior Management
The very top management should be focusing more on the business growth and new opportunities instead of micro-managing every employees. Leave this job to the managers.
Pros
low pay but stable environement. used to provide the Oversea training program. Have appotunity to work with the Garmen people.
Cons
not much welfare for employees. Long working hours yet not able to claim as overtime. Lack of training for new hired.

Training is a must for people especially for newly joined company. Need to listen to experts instead of taking decision by top management.

Working days pattern 4/3 12hours . Allowance $14 DAY, $28 NIGHT. FOOD supply for night shift, transport at MRT terminal. Leave 10-17 day. Medical leave 60 days (including of 14 days medical leave). Maternity Leave 2 calendar months(upto 2 surviving children). Marriage Leave (4 consecutive working day for 1st legal marriage only). Marriage Gift $100. Parenthood gift 100/birth of child up to 3 children. Dental coverage $150. Salary increment at 1st OCT. Note:Normal shift adopt flexi hour example normal 8.00-5.25, 9.00-6.30.
Maxinum for Technical $1500 - $2800.

Too much foreigner. Not much well towards local.
