    Equitable Resources

    Universal Services Representative (Former Employee)

ProsA great place/environment to work, 9/80 work schedule, great benefits from healthcare benefits to vacation time. Management was reliable and helpful in times of need. Support was also given when needed,

ConsI no longer work there due to the Equitable Gas side of company was sold. THe opportunites were limited for those who had not completed college. They do offer education reimbursement.

    Decent place to work.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Pittsburgh, PA

ProsThe perks are nice. Good health benefits. 9/80 schedule is great, but I am not sold on that being a work-life balance. Co-workers are friendly and helpful.

ConsSome of the management does not know how to keep or acquire / reacquire good talent. They take too long to fill posted positions and are interview heavy.

Best place I have ever worked

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsFun, yet professional work atmosphere. Excellent pay and benefits. Ability to be part of a team and make a difference. If you have great ideas, it may take a while, but the company is willing to make changes if deemed an improvement. Company takes safety very serious.

ConsIt's getting better but various business units don't like to work together. Some upper management still hold on to too much old school O&G mentality

    Advice to Senior ManagementKeep progressing

    Very good internship

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsFun coworkers
    Enjoyable atmosphere
    Good pay
    Good benefits
    Working in Oil and Gas
Given lots of responsibility and they let you get your hands on the project.

    ConsUrine drug test
    3 different offices
Office could be modernized more and could use an upgrade.
Very few offices almost everyone is in a cube

Advice to Senior ManagementShow more leadership and have higher up people take the lead, or promote the people who do all the work into the higher up roles.
Don't run it like a union and base promotions on how long you have been there. Base it off of who contributes the most to the company.
