Large time zone difference with main office makes problem resolutions complicated.
Advice to Senior Management – Limited technical resources severely effects timely goal delivery. Technical issues seem to be hitting bottlenecks through a few technical leads at home office.

Pros – ERG is a provider of fare collection systems used in transit environments. They use interesting technology to provide projects that serve people. The integration of these technologies into transit systems can be challenging both from an engineering, and customer satisfaction stand point.
Working with talented software developers and engineering staff was also exciting. There was opportunity to work with technologies new to me, and apply my existing skills to resolved performance problems.
Cons – My circumstances required a good deal of travel away from my home. Being a projects based industry, this was unavoidable.
Working with transit customers can be challenging. Stakeholders may not have bought into the project, which makes customer satisfaction difficult.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue supporting your talented employees and attract and retain new ones. Encourage more timely and accurate information sharing among technical team.
