I worked at ESignal full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Management always painted a pretty picture, and it is a friendly, office with a diverse group of people.

    Cons

Watching Lay offs happen constantly and never feeling secure in your job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be realistic with your salary and pay for the talent you have. Instead of constantly laying off and piling more work on those lucky enough to make the cut, with no retribution.

    Pros

Good management, great teams and co-workers. Excellent benefits, laid back and low key work environment. Offers products and solutions to fill a broad range of needs for individuals and companies looking for market data solutions.

    Cons

Growth in retail segment of the business has stagnated limiting opportunities to advance. Too many products that offer the same content.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Streamline product offerings, offer more training in relevant technologies.

    I worked at ESignal

    Pros

It's a pleasant enough place to work, they are very tolerant of work-life balance issues and flexible working arrangements etc.

    Cons

The pace of development is rather slow, and there are not that many opportunities for knowledge exchange with other developers. Sales-driven outfit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a broader outlook of cost-benefits analysis of various technologies, and be careful about the outsourcing of work abroad, it might not work out..
