    Pros

You work near Times Square, your coworkers will sympathize with your unhappiness, and you can list your experience on your resume.

    Cons

The CEO runs his business haphazardly: projects are not completed but stopped, replaced with higher priority projects, then forgotten. He is condescending and egotistical and does not care for others' opinions. Although it is a software company, it seems no sufficient testing is done. Training new hires is not organized or sufficient. Any security is of no concern. All new hires and interns (hired almost exclusively from a Philadelphia University) are promised a rotation program which is only referenced as an excuse for moving an employee when they are of little use in their current department. There are no 'perks' and the turnover rate is astounding. Management has no concern for employees besides their production rate. Most employees are actively looking for employment elsewhere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to care about your employees instead of only your bottom line.

I worked at EXIGIS full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

opportunity for transition, however, transition is usually a result of poor managerial decisions that leave employees hanging and the only thing they can think of to do is shuffle people around

    Cons

    - witnessed verbal, physical altercations between employees
    - management routinely threatened to fire staff over minor issues
    - so much money wasted on a daily basis
    - poor business decisions leading to angry customers, all blame was shifted to low-level employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Threats, low wages and poor time management coupled with long hours and little vacation are not morale boosters.

    I worked at EXIGIS

    Pros

Opportunities to experience may different areas of the business. This unfortunately is a manifestation of poor managerial planning and vision so individuals are required to flee to different areas of the company as fires arise.

    Great product concept

    Cons

Poor management oversight and ineffectual communication techniques. Secretive style where the hiring strategy is to train incoming graduates so that they are effective in Exigis but will not gain enough skills to be attractive to any other company. This is their strategy to curb employee turnover. I would watch out if I was a recent graduate being pursued by this company. Rotation program was designed with this philosophy in mind.

Witnessed physical and verbal threats between employees.

Employees always having to make up for sales team over committing or selling a product that didn't actually exist.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
