    Pros

The company itself has a great name recognition among other businesses, and there are excellent exit opportunities once you hit Manager or above.

    Cons

Your experience will be based on both luck and how proactive you are. Luck helps you get on good teams, while being proactive can help you stand out and network your way on to teams.

Current Employee - Staff Consultant in Columbus, OH

I have been working at EY (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smart people, flexible culture. Always working with the top clients and high level of visibility with upper management at all levels. Fast paced work, never bored.

    Cons

Performance bonuses are extremely low even for the highest performers. Company seems to have accepted high turnover as inevitable so they don't seem to do much in terms of retention.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to be on the front lines of new business culture adoption- maternity leave, flexible travel arrangements, promotions and rankings, performance bonus structure. Lots of companies are making strides and EY seems to be just a follower.
