    Pros

Great networking, training, and opportunities to learn and grow. Promotion structure is defined and expectations are clearly outlined.

    Cons

Lots of office politics, underpaid for work done and hours spent. High stress, often for no reason.

    Pros

    - Working with intelligent, friendly people - good challenges - good opportunities for relocation (internationally as well) - steady promotion track - mentorship

    Cons

    - competitive (could also be seen as a pro) - can be difficult to have a say in where you are staffed - firm is so large it can be hard to connect with the right people for the opportunities you're seeking

    Advice to Management

I've been very happy with EY Management in general. At times there can be a disconnect but for the most part I work closely with Management and have ample opportunities for mentorship.

    Pros

Flexibility, decent work life balance due to the fact that you run your teams and can manage your time, great opportunities to lead and participate in activities

    Cons

Large workload - despite being a senior manager, I still have a lot of clients and people to manage, and still work long hours. I just have more flexibility on how I work those hours

    Advice to Management

Hire better people with better qualifications. Have a more stringent recruiting practice and more rigorous interview process. Do a better job of retaining your people.

    Pros

The people are very friendly here. Everyone is there to support you and give you any advice or career prospects you could want.

    Cons

The cons would have to be that I didn't get to see a lot of different business areas at one time. It is also hard to understand advisory without being in the firm.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to spend a lot of time on campuses talking about examples of projects that you might perform if you work in this program for EY.

    Pros

Good experience and people, you get to work with some of the biggest and best companies in the Bay Area

    Cons

The hours are long and it's not just for busy season hours are long throughout the year and your pay does not reflect the amount of time you work

    Advice to Management

Hire more people and put less pressure on budgets

If you get on the right team you learn a ton and you get amazing support Benefits Constantly on different projects
