Advice to Senior Management – If a company takes care of it's employee's the employee's will take care of the company. Upper Management, I encourage you to go into your stores and talk to your hourly employee's, listen and learn. Pay them better and give them a reason to stay with the company. I believe this is a good company to work for if the management would bother to take care of the employee's.

Current Employee – been working at EZ Pawn full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great pay. Great benefits. Great people. Perfect opportunity for those burned out on "Traditional" retail. Advancement opportunities abound!
Cons – Dealing with people who think they know how pawn works since they've watched more than one episode of Pawn Stars.

Current Employee – been working at EZ Pawn
Pros – Initailly the warm fuzzy was great, and most co workers at my level are nice people.
Cons – The disconnect from operations to upper management is worrisome. From senior mgmt to Human Resources it seems a deaf ear is turned to the folks in the trenches, and substantial change or implementation of effective ideas discovered in the field are ignored. Really a top down driven organization.
Advice to Senior Management – While some issues must be delivered down to the team, a much wider swath of information might be helpful in the development of new products or operational implementation. Area managers are still on the upper mgmt ladder albeit the last rung.....

Current Employee – been working at EZ Pawn
Pros – The day goes by extremely fast. You are paid a fair price comparing to other Pawn Shops.
Cons – Too many hours. I'm working 50 hours a week. They have mandatory 6 day work weeks.
Advice to Senior Management – Better Benefits, Shorter Hours.....It's dangerous being open that late.

Former Employee – worked at EZ Pawn
Pros – exbuilding relationships with th pierence, the people you meet, building relationships with people.
Cons – underpaid, very little hometime, always working on holidays, 7 day work weeks at christmas time, monetairy raises are very poor compared to market average.
Advice to Senior Management – look at your family values as to time at work and time at home, not the best job for a family man or woman. you will have to be married to the job and a very political company be ready to play company politics.

Former Employee – worked at EZ Pawn
Pros – Buy merchandise very cheaply if that's what you are in to.
Cons – Constant verbal abuse, desk pounding and profanity. Executive Management are in it for themselves through stock options and wild personal spending. Stores run down and old. Have no respect for store level employees at all. Everyone considered a thief.
Advice to Senior Management – Respect your employees and they will respect you. Provide a better work environment and training other than watching videos. Share the wealth, don't keep it all for yourselves.

Former Employee – worked at EZ Pawn for more than 3 years
Pros – Great customers, great location, laid back sometimes
Cons – Management attitudes are HORRIBLE! Team members are always blaming each other. Favoritism is always shown. Managers never do actual work and if they are they are STEALING themselves. Corporate supervisors always defend store managers. There is no one to talk to in managent beCause they all defend each other. Pay is very low and not worth the horrible criticism you receive from management. Store has roaches, field rats, and also snakes. Managers leave for hours at a time still clocked in and nothing gets said. Communication here is horrible. Secrets are always held from the employees. This job was HORRIBLE! Even though we had great loyal customers I hope I will NEVER be forced to work here AGAIN!
Advice to Senior Management – Stop firing employees for made up reasons and do some rehiring in the CORPORATE department!
– I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
