    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    Prosgreat people to work with

Conscommunication was low and created issues

    Good people

    Land (Current Employee)

ProsMy mentors really cared about giving interns a learning experience. The people I worked with were very smart professionals of their field, but I cannot speak for the Houston office.

ConsMundane work is required of many employees that seems to be unnecessary. The company is not large enough to have a solid IT department, so there are problems with their Management Information Systems. They seem to be dependent on acquisitions for growth.

    – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

ProsSome of the people I met there will be lifelong friends.

    ConsThe management team lacks ethics

Advice to Senior ManagementPlace as much value on your employees as you do on your stock options.

    Prosgood atmosphere
    good people
good location with a nice work environment atmosphere. They have good relations within the worplace.

ConsThere are not many cons that I can think of. The company is not small but is not huge. I think that if it were a bigger company that would be better.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet better coffee.

Growth oriented Midstream processing and Upstream E&P Company; Houston TX

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Houston, TX

ProsExcellent opportunities for professional growth in either the Upstream business segment or the Midstream business segment, or in the Shared Business Services group.

ConsThis Company has grown through organic growth, but primarily its growth has been driven by acquisitions. Accordingly, there is not a lot of experience integrating newly companies into its operational and financial accounting structures. This presents a major challenge for all levels of staff and management.

    schizophrenic

Contract Employee (Current Employee) Houston, TX

    ProsThere are no good reasons.

ConsThe people are nice to your face, but they turn around and stab you in the back. They tell you that you're perfect, you're doing a great job, and they're so happy to have you there. Then a day later, they call your agency and terminate your employment with no explanation.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't hire people and then get rid of them 2 days later with a lame excuse.

Small company, but going nowhere fast

    Accountant (Current Employee)

ProsSmall company, office is quiet, if you like to be left alone and work with old people, this is a good environment. Not a lot of energy.

ConsLow energy. Lots of people committed to their "old ways" of doing things. Business strategy is not sound. Employees fall into two categories, unhappy, or apathetic. Benefits are below average, raises are below average, bonuses are below average.

Advice to Senior ManagementNobody here is happy, it's just a place people work until they find something better.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
