    Pros

Two consecutive days off a week. Paid every week and your check is usually correct, if not they will fix it.

    Cons

Working outside in the heat, snow, and rain while the truck is unloading. Driving a gas truck itself is a very dangerous job.

    Pros

nice equipment when not being worked on. very well maintained small company they also pay all your clothing work related cost

    Cons

forced dispatch is never a good thing. Company saves lots of money not paying the drivers miles. Company pays by the load very low pay.weekend pay is better. What you make on the weekend is what you should be making doing the weeks loads. What a rip-off. Benefits Stinks very high cost for low or no coverage.

    Advice to Management

Advice does not help you guys. You will never change. Pay the drivers what you make, after all we do all the work and all the Driving.

    Pros

Small company where you and get to know everyone from the top down. Flexible schedule.

    Cons

Technologically behind the times a little. High cost of insurance and below average coverage. Below average benefits.

    Pros

New equipment. But you out all day in it, making very little.

    Cons

Bad company to work for in its current state.only thing management cares about is gas in ground.period. if you not making any money, so be it. They'll even tell you to run a crappy load because of customer. And you will not be compensated for it.
They are just bad and a lot of confusion with dispatch.

    Advice to Management

Actually do something monetary for the drivers. If thongs don't change, and I doubt they will, it will continue to be a bad bad place.

    Pros

Better than average equipment, average pay, above average benefits. Average interest in drivers and office staff. Squeaky wheel will get the grease.

    Cons

A paid by the load company, most runs pay below the competition as far as miles per rate goes. Getting any adjustments to that rate is slow going.

  8. Over worked and underpaid!

    Cons

Long hours and very low pay for loads!!!

    Advice to Management

At least act like you appreciate your drivers!

    Pros

The equipment is well up to date and serviced on a regular basis. Drivers are compensated for terminal jumps.

    Cons

Some drivers are allowed every weekend off while most others such as myself (After three years of employment) have to work every weekend. Issues of stores running out and a high driver turnover rate reflects a lack of management. It is intresting how the drivers and dispatch run the selma terminal and not the terminal manager. Dispatch can give you five loads and the driver only makes less than $150 that night while another driver pulls three loas and makes $195 that same night. Major issue with Unequal payspread.

    Advice to Management

Create a rotational Schedule so drivers have the opportunity to spend time with family and loved ones on the weekends while maintaining enough labor on the weekends to get the loads covered. Example- work two weekends and off one or have us off every other weekend. Other gas transportation companies manage this well with little to no issues. Drivers are happy and loads are covered.
Pay is a major concern since some drivers are catered to by dispatch. I make an average of $185 a night while four other drivers are closer to $250 and $275 and we all worked a twelve hour shift.

    Pros

    Plenty of work
    Equipment
    Customer base
Hard working people trying to make a living
Home every day or night for at least 10 hours

    Cons

Plenty of work not enough employees
Home every day or night for at least 10 hours
Changing schedule days off with out a notice or compassion of what going on in a person life
This was actually said to an employee (It was your choice to have kids not mine)
Pay rate well off the pace
    Upper Management out of touch
Middle Management spreading rumors about money and raises to keep employees
Destroying your home life do to lack of quality people to do the job

    Advice to Management

Stop telling people you our replaceable and then you cant find quality people to replace the people you let leave over money expecting the ones left behind to pick up your slack leaving them with less home time
    Stop lying about money
Management should Stop saying a truck drivers are a dime a dozen (Guess if you're in Selma they ran out of dimes to hire quality drivers)
Bring pay rate to cost of living for 2000 or better
be nice if it was a least 2010 cost of living wages
Stop dumping everything on the drivers and not compensating them in return
Help dispatch by paying the right wages so they could have enough people to do the job
Upper management could really listen to people instead of pretending to care about problems
Middle management needs to get a clue on life

    Pros

    Made some life long friends.

    Cons

This company is absolutely terrible to work for. The pay is measly considering the hours required to work and management does not consider the well being of their employees. If you are considering working for this company, run far and fast.

    Advice to Management

Treat women with respect and use employees for feedback on what's going on at the terminal level.
