    Pros

Great job. Access to class. Looks great on resume. Managers and co-workers are like family. I don't want to leave!

    Cons

Wish I didn't have to leave due to graduation but it is a temporary job.

  3. Working at this company, I experienced a consistency in workload along with a very approachable and helpful staff.

    Pros

When working on smaller tasks, more enduring tasks, your supervisor doesn't mind if you watch movies while you complete them in order to take some of the monotony away.

    Cons

The biggest challenge was only being allowed to work 20 hours over two weeks. On many occasions, the added income would have been beneficial.

    Advice to Management

I suggest allowing students to work more hours if their schedule permits it. Or even hiring them for more than a student position.

    Pros

Great to be on campus. Easy access and good benefits of being an employee as well.

    Cons

Most hiring managers won't hire you for a second job if you work on campus.

    Pros

Stability. Career branding created some mobility.

    Cons

SPA employees have stability, but are unable to get raises based on merit. Laziness gets rewarded as often as hard work, so can become demoralizing after a while. SPA employees forced into pension with no match.

    Pros

The university, and specifically the office I worked for, felt like a family. My supervisors and coworkers gave me autonomy with most of my tasks, but they also were supportive and willing to assist me whenever I needed them. Additionally, I was challenged and able to experience various aspects of university operations and to interact with individuals from various departments.

    Cons

Occasionally, there were communication issues among departments or between employees that created some unnecessary headaches/problems.
