    Pros

    - Great health benefits package.

    Cons

    - Office morale is terrible. Internal champions for the company are impossible to find outside of upper management (who I don't believe realize that there's an issue there).

    - Promotions (unless you count getting more responsibility with no increase in salary) are rare to non-existent. As a whole, the company doesn't invest in the knowledge or advancement of its employees.

    - Distrust of upper management. Most seen as mouthpieces for the CEO.

     - Planning is extremely difficult. Expenses, whether $5,000 or $50, go to the CEO for approval. Most times approval depends on what kind of mood he's in and can take weeks.

     - The CEO appears to "average" employees as very ego driven (showing an actual mosaic of his face on a company video should help with that though).

     - Attrition: Key department managers and SMEs are leaving the company at an unbelievable pace. One of two things is happening: Either upper management sees this issue and is failing to respond accordingly or, even worse, they don't realize it. Either is extremely troubling for employees.

    Advice to Management

Let your department managers manage. Ebix could be better.
    Reward proven employees.

    Pros

THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO PROS TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY AT THIS TIME. IF BOARD GOT RID OF ROBIN THAT COULD CHANGE.

    Cons

Micro management by CEO. HAS to sign every change and contract. Has no trust in ANYONE. Ego is out of control. Treats employees as worthless replaceable commodities. Has made sure only he and his family relations (Indian) working at company will be cared for. Extreme discrimination if you are not from India. American employees have not had reviews or raises in over 5 years or more. Robin is a dangerous man that treats people as inferiors. Very demeaning to employees. Most clients have left due to his greed and arrogance. Every acquisition is owned by Singapore. This to avoid american tax laws. His foundation is another way to funnel money out of united states. The rennes foundation is also a potential money laundering and stock manipulation organization. All offshore. Run from this company as fast as you can. The house of cards will fall as the foundation is weak. Employees are extremely unhappy and moral is unbelievably bad and robin could care less. Valuable industry knowledge of dedicated employees has been lost and refuses to replace with Americans that have knowledge. At least HE gets a raise every year and more stock. I could go on, but most would think this is a rant of a disgruntled employee.

    Advice to Management

Get off your arrogant high horse and listen and trust who you've hired. Quite micromanaging as if only you know better. VALUE THE PEOPLE YOU HAVE. THEY ARE ASSETS NOT COMMODITIES.

    Pros

People. Like many companies in Ebix, part of an acquisition

    Cons

Every acquisition is disconnected from the company as a whole. Employees asked to perform functions they know they are not qualified for. Employees stretched too thin, no sense of job satisfaction leading to very low employee morale and a defeating work environment. Seem to have no concern for client loss as a result of too much work, not enough employees to honor client commitments. Management not empowered to make any decisions . CEO has to approve all expenses to include office supplies . No tools provided to be successful even if metrics prove otherwise.

    Advice to Management

Stick to core competencies and work on connecting acquisitions to the company instead of leaving them stranded

    Pros

great benefits for PTO and Holiday and Sick time, no other company gives health benefits as soon as your 1st day of work.

    Cons

The company does not seem to be fair in how they handle situations. Salary employees are treated better than hourly. The pay is horrible.

    Advice to Management

Be fair all across the board not just for certain departments. If everything is supposed to be a team setting then embrace a team across the board not individuals.
