ProsI look forward to coming into work everyday becasue the people who sit around me are hillarious! Everyone works really hard and is helpful, but at the same time can make the work day enjoyable. Its a good mix of sales and account management. Its difficult in way you wouldnt expect. As long as you are self-managed and take responsibility for your own customers then you will do fine. Its a young and entrepreneurial atmostphere-very competitive-but not in a bad way. You dont have to work on the weekends and if your sick or take a day off you can still keep an eye on things from home so you dont feel completely overwhelmed when you return. The potential to make a lot of money and for advancement is there-you just have work hard. Nothing will given to you and you are not mico-managed(yes, you are hounded on numbers sometimes, but thats sales) but the job is what you make it. If you work hard, you will get results and you can get help if you ask for it, but no one is going to hold your hand. If you compare where you could be in 5 years with Echo to 5 years with another company-its exceptional- you really have invaluable experience you can take with you to any other company.

ConsThey pay isnt great to start off with, but if you hang in there long enough it makes it worth your while. Sometimes you have mean cutomers and things go wrong that are out of your control -but in the end its a learning expereince and the pro's outweigh the cons. A handful of people are just plain dumb, but I guess you will find that anywhere you go. The first year is pretty rough but they have been changing around departments and comp plans and I think its for the best. I can foresee the change being discouraging for people stuck in the transition but a HUGE improvment if you start off on the new one.

Advice to Senior ManagementMost of the management is exceptional, but every so often you get one of those with an inflated ego on a power trip. The supervisiors who do an exceptional job need to be rewarded MUCH greater than the mediocare ones. Everyone should be required to read the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People". They need to realize that exceptional sales people dont always make the best managers and execptional managers were not always the best sales people.

ProsTraining is thorough, great opportunity for advancement, amazing work environment! The Dallas branch is amazing, we have a great view of downtown (The best balcony in Dallas!), the work environment is fun, energetic, and laid back! Beer Fridays and contest really keep friendly competition within the branch and our management is great and always full of encouragement!

ConsHey if you don't like putting in hard work, like sales jobs, or waking up early then it's probably not the place for you.

ProsThe people that I work with are awesome. I am not micromanaged. The company is growing rapidly (room for growth).

ConsThe company is growing rapidly, which means growing pains. There are many acquisistions, which brings new knowledge.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease take into consideration what your employees are telling you. Many of us have been doing this for years. Many of us feel you don't want to improve process and there are no ways but your ways. I promise that if you implement some of the changes we suggest, your company would run smoother and be more profitable.
